Game components[]
The protagonist is the primary playable character that the player starts the game as. The protagonist must reach the opened portal to complete each level.
Headstones are solid, stationary objects that can be found on the ground in some levels. The player can land on top of them to reach a higher elevation.
Treats are scattered objects that are found in every level. The player needs to obtain all of these to gain access to the portal. There are five varieties.
Portals are the main goal that need to be reached to complete a level. They begin unlocked, but open once the player has collected all pieces of treats in the level.
Bats will either remain stationary in the air or fly in a back-and-forth vertical pattern. The player and mummy can jump on top of bats and use them to reach greater heights.
Pumpkins are stationary and act as a spring when jumped on.
The mummy is a playable character that appears in every level starting from level 4. He behaves similarly to the protagonist, although he cannot jump as high. The player can alternate between the mummy and the protagonist and use either character as a solid platform for an extra boost. Although the mummy can collect treats, he cannot enter an unlocked portal.
Spikes hurt both the protagonist and the mummy if contact is made from the top. Walking into spikes from the side will not harm either character.
