Controls[]
- Left and right arrow keys - Run
- Up arrow key - Jump
- Down arrow key - Duck
- Shift key - Provides a boost about every twenty seconds
Gameplay[]
The player controls a dinosaur who is constantly running from a progressing catastrophe. The dinosaur must jump over obstacles and sometimes navigate through tunnels in order to survive. If the dinosaur loses too much ground, the catastrophe will catch up to it and cause the dinosaur to die, ultimately bringing about extinction to its species.
There are many obstacles in the game, such as hills, rocks, and other dinosaurs. The dinosaur must avoid these in order to remain moving at a quick speed. If the dinosaur is moving too slow, however, the player can press the Shift key to provide a temporary boost for the dinosaur. The player must wait twenty seconds in between using boosts.
Dinosaurs[]
There are several different types of dinosaurs the player encounters while running.
- Dactyls - When the dinosaur jumps directly into one, it will carry the dinosaur for a few seconds before dropping it.
Soundtrack[]
There is one track that plays during the actual game.
